Africa Day stands for unity and solidarity as well as recognising successes from every corner of Africa, especially in overcoming shared challenges like malaria.
In a strong show of support for the fight against this deadly disease, ViacomCBS Networks Africa (VCNA) – through its brand channels MTV, MTV Base, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central – has joined forces with the Zero Malaria Starts With Me movement to support the Draw The Line Against Malaria campaign!
This new partnership will aim to raise awareness, drive education and engage young people across Africa to take back their futures and become the generation that will end malaria. This Africa Day, we have an opportunity to stand together and call for a safer, healthier, stronger world for us all and for future generations. In a year blighted by COVID-19, we must keep up the fight against malaria, a preventable and treatable disease that continues to claim the lives of hundreds of thousands of people every year.
